My Review for A Merry Little Meet Cute by Julie Murphy & Sierra Simone, read by Joy Nash & Sebastian York

Image
This was so not what I was expecting. From the title and the cover, I was expecting a cutesy, warm, happy, Christmassy book. What I actually got was fun and laughs and a whole lot of raunchy sex! Not a bad thing, just not warm and cosy! I listened to A Merry Little Meet Cute as an audiobook, read by Joy Nash & Sebastian York. The story was fun, Bee, a porn star who was trying to diversify into family-friendly movies alongside her co-star, Nolan, who used to be a pop star but is now trying to tame down his image. Of course, they are each other’s fans and of course, they fall in love along the way. If you want something hilarious to read or listen to, then by all means, grab yourself a copy of A Merry Little Meet Cute, but is it something to buy your Great Aunt Ethel for her birthday? Probably not, unless you know she’s going to like a whole lot of sex, sex and…more sex! Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Collins UK Audio  for the opportunity to listen to and review a copy of A ...

My Review for Time and Chance in Market Linborough by Elaine Taylor

Image
⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved this, and I was so utterly thrilled that the author, Elaine Taylor, reached out to me and asked me to review her first book, Time and Chance in Market Linborough. A fictional village in the Leicestershire countryside, Market Linborough is home to a variety of residents, young and old, families, and single parents, with the local pub, The White Rose, the centre of village life. Ella and Adam are our protagonists and each has their own gremlins in the closest when it comes to previous relationships. However, I guarantee that when Adam becomes Ella’s knight in shining armour in the middle of a snowstorm, you will just want to keep on reading to find out what happens to our complicated couple. I have just moved from Leicestershire, and throughout the book, I wondered where the author had based Market Linborough on, and whether it was somewhere, I had visited. I wanted to wander through the snow with the dogs at my side, just as Ella did and perhaps visit the secret pool in...

My Review for I'm Your Man, by Paige Onsen

Image
⭐⭐⭐⭐  When Paige contacted me and asked me if I would like to read and review her new book, ‘I’m Your Man’, I jumped at the chance because there is nothing I love more than an author getting in touch! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I am so glad I agreed to read it, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only complaint? It wasn’t long enough! Rhea and Jason, two very diverse characters. Rhea is complicated and troubled, whereas Jason is simple and easy-going. What you see is what you get and ultimately you can see they will complement each other.  Jason calms Rhea’s anxieties and slowly but surely she begins to trust him and their relationship blossoms. Steamy and passionate, I’m Your Man will appeal to anyone who enjoys a fast-paced, sizzling romance. Perhaps a sequel please Paige!
